(West Fargo, ND) One of West Fargo s scholastic leaders getting a major honor Tuesday.
Dr. Jennifer Fremstad, principal of West Fargo High School, has been named the North Dakota Principal of the Year by the North Dakota Association of Secondary School Principals.
Fremstad holds a doctorate in educational leadership from the University of North Dakota, a master’s degree in educational leadership from Minnesota State University Moorhead, and a bachelor’s degree in English education from the University of North Dakota. She has been with West Fargo Public Schools since she accepted the position of principal for West Fargo High School in 2013.

According to an internal Alerus Center review, conducted at the Herald’s request, attendance at a wedding there exceeded state “Smart Restart” COVID guidelines at the time by 62 people.
The review shows there were at least four such events during the year that exceeded guidelines another wedding, as well as general election voting and the Pride of Dakota shopping expo. Alerus Center officials say big events like these are carefully managed for maximum public safety.

Dr. Dale Miller, assistant principal at Davies High School, has been named the North Dakota Assistant Principal of the Year by the North Dakota Association of Secondary School Principals (NDASSP). Now designated a state winner by NDASSP, Miller is eligible to be the 2021 NASSP National Assistant Principal of the Year. When Davies High opened in 2011, Dale moved to an assistant principal at Davies High school where he is currently working.

Delvin Graeme Easton, 87, of Williston, ND passed away on December 9, 2020 at Sanford Hospital in Bismarck due to complications of pneumonia and COVID-19.
In keeping with Delâs wishes, cremation has taken place and interment will be in Beulah in the spring of 2021. Friends are welcome to watch Delâs celebration of life, which will be live streamed at 11:00 AM on Saturday, December 19, 2020. Rev. Jeanne Madsen will officiate.
