Maxwell was first hired in September 2019, and has now successfully completed primary training requirements and probationary period, Mayor Keith Ogle said. Maxwell is a graduate of Andrew High School in Tinley Park, and has a Bachelor s degree in business administration from Illinois State University, Ogle said. Maxwell s father served as a Chicago police officer and several other family members have served in the police and fire field, according to board documents.

UA Little Rock Student Research and Creative Works Expo Begins April 16

News No Comments The University of Arkansas at Little Rock’s 2021 Student Research and Creative Works Expo will debut to the public Friday, April 16, featuring the latest research and innovations of student researchers at UA Little Rock.   The event will be hosted virtually through Whova, a free event app. The expo will be open to the public through July 12, allowing members of the Little Rock and campus community to attend the presentation of students’ projects. Judging will take place from April 16-19.  Both graduate and undergraduate students are eligible to present their ongoing research projects, service or professional work, and creative projects. Student researchers are exploring everything from using combination therapy to combat multidrug-resistant bacteria to the creation of micro droids inspired by the “Star Wars” universe to an assessment of the university’s graduate student orientation program.

Queen s Park s Joshua Maxwell PHOTO BY VIDYA THURAB - Queen’s Park Cricket Club (QPCC) returned to the top of the Table Tennis Champions League standings after dousing WASA 3-0 in their final round one match at the D’Abadie Community Centre on Sunday. Important wins from Joshua Maxwell, Derron Douglas and Aaron Edwards propelled QPCC to 16 points after six matches played. Maxwell opened QPCC’s his account on the night with an 11-9, 5-11, 9-11, 11-6, 11-5 victory over WASA’s Alaric Humphreys. Douglas then swept Curtis Humphreys 11-9, 12-10, 11-6 before eventual Toppers MVP Edwards completed the match-win courtesy a 6-11, 11-6, 11-9, 4-11, 13-11 triumph over Kyle Borneo.
