FRANKFORT, IL Police officer Joshua Maxwell was sworn in at Monday s Frankfort Village Board meeting. Maxwell was first hired in September 2019, and has now successfully completed primary training requirements and probationary period, Mayor Keith Ogle said.
Maxwell is a graduate of Andrew High School in Tinley Park, and has a Bachelor s degree in business administration from Illinois State University, Ogle said.
Maxwell s father served as a Chicago police officer and several other family members have served in the police and fire field, according to board documents.
April elections bring in new boards and councils in May.
For the first part of the month, area communities have been seeing new and familiar people raising their right hands, repeating after judges and other dignitaries, stating their names and promising to uphold the sanctity of their position.
The Southland communitiesâ boards are just settling in after all the April 6 votes were certified by the officials in Cook and Will Counties.
