Ta’amu’s addition comes just three days after Matthew Stafford damaged the cartilage on the left side of his ribs in a 31-24 loss to Green Bay. Stafford suffered the injury when he was blindsided by nose tackle Kenny Clark on a fourth-quarter scramble. He tried to re-enter the game, but was in too much pain to execute his responsibilities as a quarterback and protect himself. Chase Daniel replaced him for the offense’s final drive. ....
