The Jamestown Metro Drug Task Force executed a search warrant Oct. 16, 2020 at the Wescott Street residence Martinez shared with Antasia Babcock and their children. During the search, officers reported seizing a pound of suspected methamphetamine hydrochloride, drug paraphernalia and about $62,000 in cash. The charges carry a mandatory minimum penalty of 10 years in prison and a $10 million fine. ....

Anthony M. Camarata No one was injured, and a Jamestown man was jailed, after a shot was fired through the floor of an East Fifth Street apartment. Officers and members of the Jamestown Metro Drug Task Force responded at about 10:30 a.m. Wednesday for a gunshot complaint. It was reported that 37-year-old Anthony M. Camarata, who was on parole, allegedly discharged a firearm inside his 509 E. Fifth St. apartment. In a news release, Jamestown police said the bullet traveled through the floor and entered the apartment below. Following the incident, officers were able to call Camarata out of his apartment without incident. ....
