Embark looks set to sell to Lloyds Banking Group

Embark could be taken over by Lloyds Banking Group in a deal worth around £400m, according to reports from the weekend.
An announcement from the firms is anticipated to come as early as this month, Sky News suggests.
Asset managers BlackRock, Franklin Templeton and Legg Mason all hold minority stakes in Embark.
The platform and pensions business has been busy on the acquisition trail itself of late, having acquired Zurich’s investment and retail platform last year.
It followed Embark’s purchase of the adviser and partnership client Alliance Trust Savings from Interactive Investor.
The report from Sky News suggests Fenchurch Advisory Partners is advising Embark on the deal. Fenchurch has been involved in several high profile deals in the market. ....
