thank you for joining us. a lot of factors are going into determining just how severe our weather will become. let s begin now with jason for the very latest. jason: scattered stuff and a broader view of super doppler 8 radar showing the huge scattered mess in areas to the west, just southeast of lincoln. one severe storm and we will continue to watch the cloud cover. we have breaks in the south. that will increase the heating and instability needed to punch up some of those robust storms. over the next hour or so, we should see more start to shoot up and increase the potential or strong to severe storms and some could be having tornadic potential. a tomato watch out until 6:00 p.m. for central and southwestern portions of the state. these storms should follow up ship fire up individually before shooting east. they put a bull s-eye from des moines eastward, but we will soon have that chance of stronger storms and i will track that with you, coming up. mollie: thank you, j
