The Legends rallied to defeat Stuttgart 12-5 in their first game of the tournament, then shut out Bismarck 12-0 to move into bracket play. From there, the Legends beat Bismarck 12-3 to advance to the semifinals. In the semis, the Legends rolled to a 15-0 victory over Lakewood, highlighted by a nine-run outburst in the first inning that included eight stolen bases. In Sunday’s championship game against Arkadelphia, the Legends took a 2-0 lead on Hayden Campbell’s two-run double and still held a 2-1 lead in the bottom of the fourth before Arkadelphia rallied to win 6-2.
