One person is dead and two other people had to be rescued from a York County creek on Monday.UPDATE: The coroner s office has identified the victim as John Beachey, 53, of Brogue.Crews were called to the area near Delta just before 6 p.m. They stayed on the scene for about five hours.WGAL was told three people were kayaking in Muddy Creek in an area known as the Gorge.According to the coroner s office, one of the kayakers had some difficulty. The man became separated from the group and drowned, the coroner said. The Gorge is well known to kayakers, hikers and swimmers, but it s not easily accessible.First responders had to go in on foot. ....

Arnold passed away from cancer in January.The 48th district covers Lebanon County and parts of York and Dauphin counties.There were four candidates running for the seat.
