Staff Report After a delay of a few weeks, ensembleNEWSRQ closes its season Monday night with the concert “Sun Colors,” which will be presented live via streaming. Violinist Samantha Bennett, one of the founders and co-artistic director of the contemporary classical music group, will be featured in the program with violinist Jennifer Best Takeda, violist Derek Mosloff and cellist Natalie Helm. enSRQ describes the concert as a way to celebrate “the warmth and diversity of contemporary string writing.” It features Reena Esmail’s 2018 “Darshan” for solo violin; Michael Djupstrom’s 2011 piece “Daydreams and Nightvisions” for violin and cello; Jessica Meyer’s “I Only Speak of the Sun,” a 2018 composition for string trio and Tan Dun’s “8 Colors” for string quartet. ....

The concert also includes W.F. Bach’s Sinfonia in F Major (Dissonances) and J.S. Bach’s Concerto for Two Violins in D minor (Double). ....
