CLEVELAND, Ohio A Cleveland board gave its blessing to raze the former Detroit-Shoreway home to a Mexican-American social club so apartments can be built in its place, after developers struck a deal with Latino advocates who wanted to save the building.
The Cleveland Landmarks Commission on Thursday approved the demolition of the Club Azteca building in the 5600 block of Detroit Avenue.
