Tampa’s history in pro wrestling played vital role in developing superstars – past and present By Diedra Rodriguez From 2006: Tampa is Wrestletown U.S.A. The past, present and future of Tampa’s role in wrestling history are tied together. Eddie Graham in the 60s. The Brisco Brothers in the 70s. There was also Macho Man and, of course, Hulkmania. NJPW New Beginning in Nagoya Review

NJPW New Beginning in Nagoya Review By Jim Rohan on Jan 31, 2021, 12:44am EST + This event was broadcast from Nagoya’s Dolphin s Arena where we were greeted with What’s up you fat marks?! by new colour commentator El Phantasmo, alongside Kevin Kelly. Toru Yano & Kazuchika Okada vs. Yujiro Takahashi & EVIL – Okada has been very jolly in the build to this event and has at times appeared not to take Evil all too seriously, though he has been demanding a singles match against him. Okada and Evil begin the match but after circling and changing corners, Togo nips at Okada’s ankles before Evil commits to an attack. Yujiro jumps in too but Okada handles them both before chasing after Togo. He throws him in the ring and beats him like a drum. Evil grabs the ref and Togo grabs Okada, Yujiro takes out Yano and Evil throws Okada into the barricade. Back in the ring and all three of them hold hands to help Evil with the abdominal stretch on Okada. The turnbuckle is gone
