Millbury senior news Special to the Millbury-Sutton Chronicle Now that the warm weather seems to be coming, the Senior Center is getting ready for some outside events. We are also going to start opening slowly for activities indoors. Sean Hendricks, our town manager, is getting ready for us to come up with a schedule for a limited number who can attend activities. He wants to make sure we stay safe. Even though you may have received the vaccine, you must keep wearing your mask. Bingo We are looking to have Bingo outside on Wednesday, May 5, at 12:30 p.m., weather permitting. If you are interested in attending this program, call the senior center and register. ....
Millbury Senior Center news Vaccine news We are now helping those individuals 65-plus get a vaccine appointment for a shot. The sites open are the large ones that Gov. Baker has set in place. We are hoping to share a site with several or our adjacent towns. If you would like us to assist you in getting the vaccine, please call and leave your name and phone number. As soon as a site opens up we will call you. We will also find a site nearby in our area if you don’t want to wait. Worcester State University is offering vaccine shots now as well. If you have a computer or have a relative who can help you, go to vaxfinder.mass.gov and schedule an appointment. ....
