State Sen. Leslie Duvall did not seem to be the obvious leader for a prison reform movement for Indiana in the 1980s.
The Indianapolis Republican was conservative by conviction and chairman of the 1964 Barry Goldwater for President movement in Indiana. Elected to the state Senate in 1966, Duvall became the Republican authority on criminal justice in the legislature.

Sen. Todd Young is attempting to position himself as someone willing to work with any administration for the good of Hoosiers, in the midst of an inner-party fight.
Meanwhile, Young had some choice words about Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene on a press call Tuesday.
He also discussed his thoughts on the future of the party.
