Date Time Stolen vehicle chargesin Brisbane Three people have been charged after a stolen Mercedes was allegedly driven at high speed from Logan to north Brisbane yesterday. It will be alleged that a grey Mercedes Benz sedan was stolen from the driveway of a residence at Daisy Hill around 11pm on July 19. Just after 12.20pm on July 20 the vehicle was observed by Polair on Wembley Road, Logan Central being driven at speeds approaching 200 kilometres per hour as it travelled north, overtaking on the wrong side of the road and running numerous red lights. The Mercedes exited the tunnels at Gympie Road, Kedron and was then driven into a service station where one of the occupants exited to obtain fuel. Police approached the vehicle and attempted to gain entry, but it drove away at speed before mounting the footpath of Gympie Road and coming to a stop. ....
