Penn State men’s basketball will reportedly play St. Francis (New York) as part of its non-conference slate next season, according to CBS insider Jon Rothstein. St. Francis’ finish was not good enough to earn a spot in the four-team NEC Conference Tournament. It is one of four original Division 1 teams to have never participated in the NCAA Tournament. It is unclear when exactly the matchup will take place, but Rothstein reports that the game will take place at the Bryce Jordan Center. This is the second confirmed piece to the 2021-22 schedule after the team announced it would take part in the Emerald Coast Classic over Thanksgiving weekend. The preseason tournament will involve LSU, Wake Forest, and Elite Eight participant Oregon State. ....
