Walter, we have large area of precipitation we are tracking, from new england stretched back to pennsylvania and down through ohio valleys. We are tracking a precipitation as we go throughout the rest of tonight we will go in tighter on street level with storm track er six and light snow here in philadelphia but we even have, some mixed precipitation, down across areas in south jersey, heavy rain as well for Atlantic City , Sea Isle City and also some mixed precipitation there in millville and hammington, but just to the north of that we are getting a good thumping of snowfall right now, and this will continue as we go throughout the rest of the evening hours. As far as temperatures are concerned heres in philadelphia, in the last hour we had a temperature of 38 degrees. Per hour and what we are seeing waiting in the wings heres the difference. There is no huge arctic high driving cold canadian air down but what we are seeing is a west northwest mild breeze, this is all mild air. So this snow will start melting, very, very quickly. This afternoon we are in the mid to upper 40s. As we head into tomorrow, close to 50 and then it just gets warmer and warmer each and every day. We are close to 73 or 74 by mid week. Allentown little bit more than 8 inches of snow which brings your seasonal total over 2 feet in the Lehigh Valley. Temperature wise magic number is 32. Once we get above 32 everything starts to melt. The precipitation is moving out from a southeast to northeast direction. Satellite and radar showing snow we had in philadelphia pressing to the north and east and rain exiting south jersey street levels.
