On Monday, the Manassas City Council unanimously approved a new ordinance that amends the City’s parking regulations. Now drivers must park within a marked parking space when they park on a city street. Previously, the code required drivers to park in marked spaces for any municipal parking lot. However, the code did not address vehicles parking outside of designated, marked areas on public streets within the city.
