Alabama Governor Kay Ivey signed legislation on Monday that will legalize medical marijuana in the state, according to the Associated Press. The bill will allow people with certain medical conditions such as cancer, a terminal illness or depression to get medical marijuana with a doctor’s recommendation. Wyoming is now one of only five states where marijuana remains fully criminalized. The other four states where both recreational and medical marijuana remain illegal and marijuana possession has not been decriminalized include Idaho, South Carolina, Kansas and Tennessee. ....

Now has come the Fruitland Elementary School teacherâs time to clean out her desk. Langley will retire following the conclusion of the 2020-21 school year. Fellow teacher Terri Walton highlighted Langleyâs plans to retire in an email to the newspaper on April 22, in which she shared some of Langleyâs accomplishments.
