Escondido A “Vision Plan” for Grand Avenue in downtown Escondido would include the construction of three roundabouts at the intersections of Broadway, Kalmia and Maple. Plan also calls for wider sidewalks, removal of street medians (and the eucalyptus trees that grow in them) and diagonal parking along one side of the street. The plan would cost $15 million.
