You say you play the public courses and not the elite courses. For many families, just finding a place to live and getting a meal is an issue. Golf would be an unheard of luxury.
And, frankly, if you think at the age of 70 you are living on borrowed time, you need to think again. ....

While columnist, Robin Baranyai, correctly noted that there has been an increase in the demand for butter, she never mentioned that at least some of this increased demand is because for the past year Canadian consumers have been unable to buy butter in the United States where it is priced at about the same level as margarine is here.
In addition, while the use of the artificial dairy growth hormone rBST is legal in most states, consumer pressure has driven it off the market. Kroger and Walmart, with a combined share of 35 per cent of the U.S. grocery market, have been hormone-free since 2008 and most other retailers have followed suit. I challenge anyone to be able find milk not marked “hormone-free” in U.S. grocery stores. ....

Costly move
Nan Finlayson sold her home to the city at a fair price. Now comes the crux of this situation.
The city plans to move this non-spectacular home to a new location at a cost to the London taxpayer of up to $1.1 million.
Taxpayers should be up in arms about this.
There is nothing logical about saving this home and moving it.
The only people who benefit from this are the heritage lovers who have screwed the London taxpayers over one more time.
Wake up, people.
Tear home down
Why is the city moving Nan Finlayson’s house? The city expropriated it. Tear it down. Build the new rail overpass and improve the intersection at Wharncliffe Road and Horton Street. ....

How are your actions and language deepening the relationship of your congregants with our Lord Jesus? How many people from outside of your congregation have chosen a relationship with the Lord because of your actions and language?
Is it not the responsibility of a church leader to set a Christ-like example to his flock and the world?
As Christians our actions and language should bring glory to God. ....
