Police and firefighters arrived at the Auto Zone parking lot on Martin Luther King Jr. Drive in Jackson at about 12:23 a.m. April 6, and found the vehicle burning bumper to bumper, Jackson Deputy Director of Fire Services David Wooden said. While at the scene, police were told a man had shown up at the Henry Ford Allegiance Health Emergency Department with burns on his arms, Jackson Police and Fire Services Director Elmer Hitt said. The man was transferred to the University of Michigan Hospital for further medical treatment, Hitt said. ....
