Ranchi students excel in NTSE | Ranchi News

Ranchi: Ten students of Delhi Public School, Ranchi have qualified in the National Talent Search Examination (NTSE), which was conducted by NCERT on June 13. The successful students are Aditya Prakash, Anupam Gaurav, Aviral Singh, Shiv Ratan, Pratyush, Manas Ranjan, Piyush, Mehwish Naaz, Om Raj and Indradeo Rai Munda.
School principal Ram Singh said, “I wish the students a bright future.”
Notably, NTSE is a national-level scholarship scheme that aims to nurture talented students.
Meanwhile, the Jawahar Vidya Mandir Shyamli said that six of its student have also cracked the examination. School principal Samarjit Jana termed the achievement as a positive news during the Covid-19 pandemic. ....

Many state students score over 99 percentile in JEE (Main) | Ranchi News

Jamshedpur/Ranchi: Several students from Jharkhand cracked the JEE (Main) 2021 conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) and the results of which were declared on Monday night.
In Jamshedpur, Yash Kumar of Carmel Junior College, Sonari, made his parents and the teachers proud by scoring 99.95 percentile. Son of Tata Steel employee Ashok Kumar and teacher Binu Singh, Yash said he studied eight hours daily ahead of the exams.
Another student from the Steel City, Sameer Anand of Jusco School South Park, scored 99.83 percentile. About 6,000 aspirants from the city had appeared for the exam and over 800 plus candidates performed well.
In Ranchi, Vatsal Jain of Jawahar Vidya Mandir Shyamli scored 99.94 percentile while Tanisha Salvi of the same school scored 99.83. The school administration said 185 students qualified for the examination out of whom eight scored above 99 percentile. ....

Ranchi: After attending offline classes for around a month, most students in the city said they have become accustomed to the new normal of wearing masks and maintaining social distancing, among others. Notably, physical classes have resumed for Class X and Class XII batches in the state.
Alice Prisca, a Class XII student of Don Bosco Public School, said she misses the earlier times when she and her friends used to walk around the campus and share tiffin with each other during lunch break.
She said ,“ We diligently follow Covid protocols on the campus to curb the spread of the pandemic. Like everybody else, I’m also praying for life to return to normal.” ....
