During this weekend, the old areas of the city will have to prepare themselves to brace for quite a few hours of
load shedding as the Maharashtra Electricity Transmission Company Limited (
MSETCL) will be undertaking maintenance work of the 132 KV gas insulated sub-station in Rasta Peth.
As a result, power supply of six other substations will be shut down for at least 36 hours.
These six substations provide supply mostly in the old Peth areas including Rasta Peth, Bhawani Peth, Nana Peth, ....
