A 28-year-old has been arrested in connection with a Maple Hill triple homicide that left a man and a pregnant woman fatally shot. The Pender County Sheriff s Office said in a Thursday morning news release Michael Legage Miller Jr. was taken into custody early Thursday morning with the assistance of the Jacksonville Police Department. Miller is charged with two counts of first-degree murder and one count of murder of an unborn child in the Nov. 8 deaths, according to the release. Pender County Sheriff Alan Cutler in a Thursday morning press conference said the investigation is still ongoing, and no further information will be released at this time. ....
According to the Pender County Sheriff s Office, there are 15 apps parents should know about if their kids are using them. I didn t even know there were that many apps that were out there like this, said Sgt. Chester Ward, Pender County Sheriff s Office public information officer. Ward said the reason the sheriff s office is publicizing this list is so parents can recognize these apps and understand what their uses are.
