Image Source: IANS News New Delhi, June 4 : Low-cost carrier Go First, formerly known as GoAir, has ferried 63 oxygen concentrators to Delhi from Mumbai to be distributed across the state. According to the airline, these concentrators have been provided by IPL franchise Punjab Kings , which has tied up with Round Table India for distributing oxygen concentrators to patients with mild to moderate symptoms. These concentrators are given free of charge to the patients and after use, they are properly sterilised or sanitised and given to other patients, the airline said in a statement.

Punjab Kings to provide oxygen concentrators ANI 25 May 2021, 18:18 GMT+10 Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], May 25 (ANI): In light of the raging Covid- 19 pandemic, Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Punjab Kings has joined forces with Round Table India (RTI), crowdfunding on Ketto.org to help provide oxygen concentrators to those affected by the virus and in need of oxygen support. Punjab Kings will fund the procurement of oxygen concentrators which will then be provided to patients for their use. RTI will verify the need upon which an oxygen concentrator will be given for use at the patient s house or via a charitable medical institution. Post its return, the concentrator will be sanitized and disinfected and provided to the next person in need.

Express News Service CHANDIGARH: Ludhiana businessman Ayush Jain is going to get 4,600 oxygen concentrators from the US which he will be sending to home isolation Covid patients through oxygen banks and donating them to hospitals and Covid care centres in Delhi, Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, UP and Uttarakhand. Jain, 36, says he will receive the first lot of 262 concentrators by Tuesday. Another 162 will land in the next five days and the rest by May 18. “We are getting 100 of them in association with Punjab Kings XI and the rest through Tri Valley Indian Medical Association and India Community Centre led by President Dr Shubha Jain, Malibu.”

Share Bengaluru : In the wake of promoting the ‘Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao’ campaign and building a Digital India, HKBK College of Engineering in association with ‘Round Table India’ have taken an initiative to empower girl children studying at various government schools in the city of Bangalore. The initiative aims to distribute 500 laptops, wherein they distributed 10 laptops recently as a pilot project.   The event held at the HKBK College of Engineering in the presence of Chief Guest, Sruthi Hariharan, and the Guest of Honours, Shashi K Garh (NHT) & Angadd KM (AC).   In India, several students still get limited or no access to education let alone learning how to use a computer and other technical gadgets. With this initiative, HKBK College of Engineering and Round Table India will try to fill the digital gap to an extent.
