Jordan Summers Named CEO, President of Credit Union Trust

DBusiness Magazine Jordan Summers // Courtesy of Credit Union Trust Jordan Summers, the chief fiduciary officer and Midland market president of TCF National Bank, has been named CEO and president of Farmington Hills’ Credit Union Trust. Summers replaces Robert Sajdak, who led the company since its launch two years ago. “Bob did a terrific job of getting this unique organization up and running, and we appreciate that he came out of retirement to guide the way,” says Ron Lauren, board chair of Credit Union Trust. “Jordan’s enthusiasm and expertise will broaden the impact even further.” Credit Union Trust was established in 2019 by seven Michigan credit unions as a limited purpose trust bank with the goal of offering trust and fiduciary services to a broad range of people.

Feb 20, 2021 MIDLAND, MI – Robert Francis Dennett, 88, of Midland, passed away peacefully on February 14, 2021, after a short illness at MidMichigan Medical Center surrounded by his family. He was born the son of Harold and Louise (Gaviglio) Dennett on March 2, 1932, in Marquette, MI. His mother, Louise, passed away unexpectedly when he was eleven, and his father then married Marie Reichel in 1947, who was a wonderful grandmother to Robert’s children. He graduated from Bishop Baraga High School in 1950. He then attended Northern Michigan University for one year before transferring to Michigan Technological University, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering in 1954. After graduation he was accepted into the United States Navy Officer Candidate School and served as a Lieutenant for two years in the Navy and several years in the Naval Reserves. After his service in the Navy, he worked for Dupont in New York for one year before being employed by th

On Dec. 20, Chippewa Nature Center is inviting families to drop in to celebrate the first day of winter along the Arbury Trail. Take part in a variety of winter-related, self-guided activities anytime between noon and 4 p.m. Please remember to enjoy activities while keeping a 6-foot distance from people outside your household. For more information, visit www.chippewanaturecenter.org. Full Moon Stroll This month’s Long Nights moon recognizes the shorter days and longer nights that occur near the winter solstice. On Dec. 29, bundle up to look and listen for nocturnal wildlife moving under the moon light between 5-6 p.m. at Chippewa Nature Center. Participants will need to register for this walk by 12-28, by visiting www.chippewanaturecenter.org. For the walk, wear dark clothing and bring a flashlight.
