Mathias Sandeck, who had dual nationality (Portuguese and German) and had lived in the municipality of Lagos since he was five months old, was part of the National Underwater Fishing Team, and passed away during his participation in the XXXII Euro-African Championship in Denmark. A serious accident occurred on the second day of competition, on August 8, 2019, leading to the death of this young athlete. ....
