A rescue helicopter equipped with a new navigation system allowing it to fly even in low cloud touched down in Timaru for the first time on Wednesday.
“It was really interesting, and a smooth flight,” Boulcott said.
“I m just excited that the training is beginning.”
ICU doctor and GCH Aviation medical director Katherine Townsend said the new system was “essential” for getting patients the best help possible. ....
