The film
Avijatrik is the concluding part of the epic novel Aparajito by Bibhutibhushan Bandyopadhyay and sequel to the great Apu Trilogy by Satyajit Ray. This week our Black Lady graced Kolkata again and decided to honour the best of the best in Bengali cinema. Riddhi Sen who had given an outstanding performance in Nagarkirtan where he played the role of a eunuch won the Filmfare Award for Best Actor (Critics’) for his phenomenal performance.
