Peanut SLIT Seems Safe, Effective in Toddlers

Peanut sublingual immunotherapy (SLIT) was associated with significant desensitization in toddlers, ages 1 to 4 years, with no safety issues, a randomized trial showed.
During the placebo-controlled trial, cumulative tolerated dose in the peanut SLIT group increased to 4,333 mg of peanut protein versus 143 mg in the placebo group (
