Concerns have been raised over plans to build 39 new homes in an area of Carlisle. The city council received proposals on Friday from Citadel Homes Ltd, based at Chapel Place, to build terraced houses at the Former Key Safety Systems factory site, on Richardson Street in Denton Holme. According to the planning and affordable housing statement: “The application site covers an area of 0.58 hectares, is located to the east of Richardson Street. “It is bordered on all sides by residential properties. The student village is located directly to the north of the site. “The proposal is seeking approval for 39 terraced dwellings consisting of three blocks of four, three blocks of five and two blocks of six dwellings. ....
