Wicked Local CARVER – Duxbury officials hosed a regional vaccine site for first responders from multiple towns including Carver last week. While some of the first responders from Carver, Duxbury, Kingston, Hanover, Marshfield, Pembroke and Plympton were given the first dose of the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine Wednesday, the rest were to receive the vaccination today or Sunday. They will be administered the second dose at Duxbury Middle High School, Duxbury’s emergency dispensing site, in February as they continue to respond to and take care of COVID patients on a daily basis. Duxbury Fire Captain Rob Reardon, the public information officer for Duxbury, said of the 600 total doses, 120 went to Hanover to take care of one of their partners and the other 480 doses were divided among the other towns. ....
