Vail Resorts has been one of the companies leading the charge for gender diversity and inclusion, making a deliberate push to put women into leadership positions at all levels of its organization.
Not only does the company have women at the helm of seven of its mountain resorts including three of its five Colorado resorts but 44% of its corporate board members are women, and 45% of its executive leadership team (director level or above) are women.

Classic spring skiing conditions will be prevalent across Colorado this weekend with balmy temperatures and only a couple of ski areas expected to receive any snow.
This is the kind of forecast that brings out skiers and riders in swimsuits or tank tops. Only the southern mountains have a chance of a few showers this weekend with minimal accumulations, according to OpenSnow meteorologist Joel Gratz.
If you drive past the Poudre Canyon and continue heading west on Highway 14 towards Steamboat Springs, you ll travel through the tiny town of Gould, Colorado population 2,139.
While this unincorporated community in the Cameron Pass is so small you could almost miss it, there were once big ideas to develop the area into a Northern Colorado ski resort.
According to the Coloradoan, Cameron Pass has an average snowfall of 250 inches a year and, geographically speaking, it s an ideal place for skiing, boarding and other outdoor recreational activities.
