Charlotte Catholic and Weddington came away with grand championships at the virtual N.C. Cheerleading Coaches Association state championship competition, streamed on HighSchoolOT on Wednesday evening. The competition was held virtually this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Teams submitted videos to the NCCCA, which were reviewed and scored by judges. The results were announced live on Wednesday night.
