AUBURN â The DeKalb Outdoor Theater officially opens its summer season Friday at 7:30 p.m. with Big Caddy Daddy, sponsored by Beacon Credit Union. Big Caddy Daddy has been performing since 2008 and is known for high-voltage fun and being âthe tri-state areaâs favorite party band.â Members are Todd Bishop on guitar and vocals, Meranda Garman on vocals, Doug Lude on guitars, sax and vocals, Gary Babineau on bass and Gary Wright on drums and vocals. The Outdoor Theater canceled the first half of the 2020 season due to COVID-19, which included Big Caddy Daddyâs show. They band will return to rock the stage with its mix of classic and contemporary party rock music.  ....
Melvins Continue To Tease Working With God With Cut The Great Good Place, Announce Livestream Show Monday, 25 January 2021 Melvins have unveiled a new single, The Great Good Place. The powerful rocker is driven by a muscular guitar riff and serves as the fourth preview of their forthcoming album, Working With God , due out on February 26. Details of the second full-length from the 1983 roster of the band comprising Buzz Osborne, Dale Crover and original drummer Mike Dillard landed in November along with a pair of singles, Bouncing Rick and I Fuck Around. They also dropped Caddy Daddy earlier in January. The long awaited follow-up to 2013 s Tres Cabrones will be accompanied by vinyl reissues of 2002 s Hostile Ambient Takeover and 1987’s Gluey Porch Treatments . ....

The churning guitar sludge of Caddy Daddy serves as the third preview of their forthcoming LP, Working With God , due out on February 26 through Ipecac Recordings.In November, the trio unveiled Bouncing Rick and I Fuck Around. It ll mark the second full-length from the 1983 roster of the band Buzz Osborne, Dale Crover and original drummer Mike Dillard. The long awaited follow-up to 2013 s Tres Cabrones will arrive along with vinyl reissues of 2002 s Hostile Ambient Takeover and 1987’s Gluey Porch Treatments . Osborne, meanwhile, put out his second solo album, ’Gift of Sacrifice’, in 2020. ....
