Former Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) leader Keshav Singh, who is
now with the Janata Dal United (JDU), has filed a case against Chirag Paswan, accusing him of cheating party members in the Bihar assembly elections.
Keshav Singh has filed a case in the Patna Civil Court. In his complaint, Keshav Singh alleged that Chirag Paswan had promised many party members tickets during last year s assembly election. He further said that Paswan had also asked the hopeful members to donate Rs 4.5 lakh towards the party fund and advertisement. ....

Setback to Chirag Paswan as 200 LJP leaders join Bihar's ruling party Janata Dal-United | India News

Over 200 leaders of LJP switched over to the state’s ruling Janata Dal-United overnight.
Patna: In a massive blow to the Chirag Paswan-led Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) in Bihar, over 200 leaders of the party switched over to the state’s ruling Janata Dal-United (JD-U) on Thursday (February 18) night.
The development has come just a day after former MLA Rameshwar Prasad Chaurasia left the party.
The LJP leaders, led by former party spokesperson Keshav Singh, joined the JD-U at the party’s office.
JDU President RCP Singh and Bihar unit president Umesh Singh Kushwaha inducted into their party all the members from LJP camp. ....

Assembly elections: Nitish Kumar exacts Chirag Paswan revenge

Nitish Kumar’s Janata Dal United on Thursday inducted 208 senior leaders of the Lok Janshakti Party, executing what many said was revenge for the Chirag Paswan-led outfit’s move to queer the pitch for the JDU in the Assembly elections last year.
Sources said this was just the beginning of Nitish’s “operation” against the LJP and that several of its MPs and the lone MLA of the party could follow suit.
Those who joined the JDU included dozens of state general secretaries, 18 district presidents, district vice-presidents, heads of various cells of the party, spokespersons, leaders of frontal outfit Dalit Sena and many of those who contested the Assembly elections in October-November. ....
