A large crowd of people gathered around Maharashtra minister Sanjay Rathod s convoy as he visited the Pohradevi temple in the Washim district, violating coronavirus restrictions ordered by CM Udhhav Thackeray.

Mumbai: Amid coronavirus restrictions in Maharashtra, a huge crowd gathered as Maharashtra minister Sanjay Rathod’s convoy reached the Pohradevi temple in the Washim district of the state. Visuals from the scene show the police resorting to baton-charge to disperse the crowd.
Responding to the incident, Vasant Pardesi, SP, Washim district, said that despite warnings and appeals, around 8,000 to 10,000 people gathered near the Pohradevi temple, violating COVID-19 related rules. A case has been registered against them. ....
