Sirhaul border GURUGRAM: Marking the completion of seven months of protests against the three contentious agricultural laws, hundreds of farmers, students and activists from Gurugram set out for Panchkula on Saturday morning to lend support to the Samyukta Kisan Morcha’s (SKM) call for a nationwide agitation. We do not have a clarity on the dates of the vaccine roll-out, a spokesman of Apollo Hospitals said. Indraprastha Apollo here had earlier said that it would tentatively start administering the two-dose vaccine by June 25. An official of Madhukar Rainbow Children s Hospital said the facility has also not received Sputnik V doses so far from Hyderabad-based Dr Reddy s Laboratories, the marketing partner for the vaccine in the country.

Gurgaon: Students of Class XII expressed apprehension over the CBSE’s 30:30:40 formula to evaluate them. Many of them dubbed “unfair” the board’s decision to give 60% weightage to the marks obtained in classes X and XI. “It’s not fair. It appears we are being primarily evaluated for classes X and XI instead of Class XII. Even if the board wanted to include the performance of the previous years, it should have been the other way round 60% weightage to Class XII performance and 20% each to classes 10 and 11,” said Arunima Singh, who studies science at Salwan Public School. Some students questioned the rationale behind taking into account the performance of previous years at all.
