A celebration of Allan Hancock College’s first 100 years culminated with the naming of the centennial class of distinguished alumni, and the revelation that tuition-free fundraising efforts had reached more than halfway toward the goal. 
The virtual celebration hosted by Fifth District county Supervisor Steve Lavagnino and Superintendent/President Kevin Walthers, included musical performances, history and more on Saturday.  ....

Schottenheimer coached the Chiefs from 1989 through 1998.
Legendary NFL coach Marty Schottenheimer, (77), peacefully passed away with family at his
side on Monday, February 8, 2021 in Charlotte, North Carolina. Schottenheimer had been

Schottenheimer came to the Chiefs in 1989 after spending nine years with the Cleveland Browns the last five as their head coach. During his tenure with Kansas City, he compiled a regular-season record of 101-58-1 (.634), winning three AFC West championships and making the playoffs in seven of his 10 seasons at one point, reaching the playoffs in six consecutive years. In 1991, he led the Chiefs to their first playoff win since their 1969 Super Bowl IV victory. In 1993, he brought Kansas City to the AFC championship which would serve as the team’s high-water mark until 2018. ....

This is the list of defensive coordinators who have been in charge of the Raiders defense since my young adult years. I wanted to zoom back and get some perspective on the Raiders defensive coordinator history for the past 30 years and as we can see, not a lot of quality coordinators. This list is littered with bottom of the barrel to middling coordinators that have been in charge of the Raider defense in Los Angeles, Oakland and Las Vegas. Of this group, John fox is the clear top coordinator and a good coordinator throughout his career. The great defensive coordinators become head coaches because they do their job so well. John Fox started his dc career with the Raide ....
