Police seek help in identifying suspected purse snatcher at Capital City Mall
Police say a woman reported her purse missing, shortly before the suspect attempted to use two of her credit cards to buy Airpods at Best Buy.

CUMBERLAND COUNTY, Pa. Police in Cumberland County are seeking help from the public in identifying a man suspected of attempting to use a pilfered credit card to make purchases at a Best Buy store last month.
On June 26, a woman called Lower Allen Township Police to report that he purse had been lost and later stolen while she shopped at the Capital City Mall, police say.

Lower Allen Township Police said officials seized three loaded handguns, 44 rounds of ammunition, baggies of marijuana, digital scales, a baggie of suspected crack cocaine and at least $1,500 after a search of a vehicle belonging to suspects wanted out of Dauphin County.
Police did not yet release the names of the suspects who were arrested but said criminal charges will be filed against them in relation to the execution of the search warrant on April 6.
Lower Allen police said they were dispatched to the parking lot of the Capital City Mall at 7:20 p.m. April 6 for a wanted subject. Two people with active warrants in Dauphin County were reported to be in the area.

A large tree fell on two vehicles along a road in Lower Allen Township Sunday afternoon, injuring an unknown number of people.
Lower Allen Township Police said a tree dislodged from the embankment on 3:45 p.m. in the area of Lisburn and Old Forge roads.
The tree fell into the road, hitting the two vehicles, including a blue pickup.

Police say high winds were to blame for a large tree falling and crushing two vehicles in Lower Allen Township on Sunday.
According to Lower Allen Township Police, emergency crews were called to the 3800 block of Lisburn Road at 3:36 p.m. and found the large tree on top of a Toyota Tundra and a Ford F150.

CUMBERLAND COUNTY, Pa. Lower Allen Township Police have charged a suspect accused of failing to yield at a traffic stop and eluding police in a high-speed chase on Route 581 in Dauphin County late last year.
Christopher L. Walton, 29, of Camp Hill, is charged with fleeing and eluding police, reckless driving, and driving under a suspended license after an investigation of the Dec. 16, 2020 incident, police say.
Police say investigators traced the vehicle s registration and made contact with its primary driver, who was not cooperative. Police say they obtained a search warrant for her phone, and discovered evidence that Walton had been using her vehicle at the time of the alleged incident.
