(WBTV) - A young child, only 2 years old, was shot inside his home Sunday morning in Cleveland County. That child – Ryquez Clark – is fighting for his life in a hospital in Charlotte. His parents were with Ryquez in the home when a possible drive-by shooting happened along Douglas Street in Lawndale. Cleveland Co Jury Finds Joseph Alliniece Guilty Of First-Degree Murder

By: Brittany Toolis A Cleveland County jury convicted Joseph Alliniece for the brutal death of Brittani Young, a Norman woman killed in 2018. After a week of witness testimony, the jury took just over 90 minutes of deliberation to come to a guilty verdict.   “We’ve been waiting for this day for a long time. And it’s not over yet,” said Brittani’s sister-in-law Jamie Murphy.  Brittani s family cried tears of joy in the hallway of courtroom as the verdict came in. Alliniece was found guilty on all counts of first-degree murder, kidnapping and robbery.  Young’s family hugged each other as they walked away from the courthouse, each wearing pink in solidarity. 

Border to Coast invests £370m in private equity funds

Since its launch, the Partnership received £3bn of private market commitments from its partner funds, of which £1bn was earmarked for private equity last year – £500m for its first offering (Series 1A) and a further £485m for its second offering (Series 1B), 75% of which is now committed, it announced. The new investments form part of Border to Coast’s second private equity offering (series 1B).
