Bash organisers play it safe
Mayor Darriea Turley AM has praised organisers of the Mund Mundi Bash for their decision to postpone the event.
The Bash was set to be held on the plains near Silverton between August 19-21, and was expected to draw thousands of people from all across Australia to Broken Hill.
However Outback Music Festival Group’s Managing Director, Greg Donovan, announced on radio this morning that the event would be postponed until September 23 due to the current COVID-19 outbreak in NSW.
Mayor Turley said the decision would be welcomed by the people of Broken Hill.
