A dad of three has been jailed for three years after he bit of a man’s ear in a late-night attack.
Andrew James Sword got into a scuffle with James Laws in the Havana nightclub on Botchergate in Carlisle on January 31, 2019.
Outlining the prosecution case at Carlisle Crown Court yesterday, Neil Bisarya said: “Mr Laws was in Havana bar on Botchergate and at around 3am he went to the toilet to use the facilities with his friend. The defendant entered the toilet and asked if they could sort out any beak. Mr Laws believed he meant cocaine. He told him no and he did not use drugs.” ....
