For generations, Black women have navigated their lives expecting to battle the immeasurable anguish that stems from gender and racial discrimination. So it’s no surprise that this demographic group’s deep longing for change catapulted Joe Biden to victory. Black women turned out in droves in the most recent presidential election 93%, to be exact, voted for the Biden-Harris ticket, confirming their position as the backbone of the Democratic party.
Now that the dust has settled and Biden sets out to execute his vision for the U.S. over the next four years, I couldn’t help but wonder: How will the new administration address this country’s history of gender and racial discrimination? Will I still have no choice but to worry about losing my son or the other boys and men in my family to police brutality or gun violence simply because of the color of their skin? Will I, and other Black women like me, be afforded the same opportunities for career ....

#HarKismiMeinHaiKiss for their popular toffee brand ‘Kismi’. The nationwide campaign is being rolled out on TV and digital platforms.
Parle’s Kismi enjoys immense love among consumers as the brand proposition resonates well with the target audience of young adults. Conceptualised by Rediffusion, the TVC captures the innocence of the first crush while encapsulating the initial expression of love with cute and awkward moments among teenagers. The film showcases the adorable moments of two teens wherein ‘Kismi’ toffee plays the role of a cupid and an enabler. It is built on the brand thought of Har Kismi mein hai Kiss showcasing a cute-awkward moment of a young couple where the flavours of Kismi save the day for them and make it memorable. Laika Studios is celebrating Valentine’s Day with a special short-form video featuring duos from its films. The content will be posted out on Valentine’s Day across its social media channel to bridge the gap between providing content while fans wait for the next big studio release.
David Burke, chief marketing officer and SVP of operations says, “Laika has an incredible fan base and there’s enormous fan appetite for new material from the studio.”
