MELBOURNE .-Craft Victoria announced the appointment of experienced First Nations artist Jenna Lee to the Board as a Craft Industry Professional non-Executive Director. Ms Lee is a Larrakia, Wardaman and Karajarri woman who also has Chinese, Japanese, Filipino and Anglo-Australian ancestry. Her interdisciplinary art practice works across painting, projection, found object and sculpture, with a reoccurring use of paper, the book, language, and text. Craft Victoria Chair, Katrina Raymond, said Ms Lee brings a unique industry professional maker perspective which will be invaluable in supporting strategic planning and in helping the organisation to assist our Members in building professional and sustainable craft careers.

1808 new undergraduate students admitted to Aalto University

Share Admission results of the joint application to Finnish/Swedish degree programmes for Aalto University have been published on 6 July 2021 in the Studyinfo service . The applicants can check their admission results by logging into the My Studyinfo service at https://opintopolku.fi/oma-opintopolku/. More than 12 200 applicants applied to Aalto University’s study options in Finnish and Swedish during the application period that ended in late March out of which 1772 were selected. 1290 applicants were accepted to the field of science and technology, 124 to the field of art and design and 358 to the field of business and economics. In addition, through a separate application for the Open University track, 34 students were accepted to study business and economics in the Otaniemi campus and two in the Mikkeli campus.
