Battle Of The Badges Helps Increase Local Blood Supplies Wednesday, May 26, 2021 Sheriff Gary Sisk Catoosa County Sheriff Gary Sisk is turning up the heat to help save lives in the 7 th annual Battle of the Badges 2021 by encouraging all who can donate blood to give the gift of life on Friday, June 4, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Battle of the Badges is a friendly competition between Sheriff Sisk and Walker County Sheriff Steve Wilson, in partnership with Blood Assurance. Last year, Walker County won a close victory by one donated unit of blood. Ultimately Battle of the Badges 2020 was a big win for the region as donors in Catoosa and Walker counties contributed 171 blood units during the event, which benefited more than 500 people in regional health care facilities, it was stated. ....
Bonnie Joins The Catoosa County Sherriff’s Office Friday, May 21, 2021 McKamey Animal Center has helped Catoosa County Sheriff’s Office recruit a brand new team member – Therapy K-9 Officer, Bonnie. Only a few weeks ago, Bonnie, was roaming the streets of Chattanooga. A McKamey Animal Center Animal Services Officer picked her up and brought her back to the Center. After her stray hold passed, she was placed into a foster home with Damon McCook, founder of Good Citizen K-9. Mr. McCook quickly recognized the potential Bonnie had to become a therapy dog. Through partnership with Catoosa County Sherriff’s Office, Good Citizen K-9 and McKamey Animal Center, Bonnie has officially been announced as the newest addition of the Catoosa County Sherriff’s Office. ....
Sheriff: Man caught on camera before theft at Catoosa County home By FOX 5 Digital Team Published article CATOOSA COUNTY, Ga. - Deputies are asking the public for help identifying a man suspected of theft at a Catoosa County home. Officials with the Catoosa County Sheriff s Office shared Ring doorbell video footage of the suspect on its Facebook page. According to investigators, the man was caught on camera before committing theft at a home on Tunnel Hill Road on May 7. In the video, the man is seen peeking into multiple windows and walking on the porch while scanning the property. Officials have not said what was stolen from the home. ....
Catoosa County Deputies Capture Suspected Stalker After Pursuit Ends Near Graysville Elementary School Thursday, May 6, 2021 A man suspected of stalking a woman in a Catoosa County park was captured by Catoosa County Sheriff’s Office deputies after a vehicle and foot pursuit ended near Graysville Elementary School.
Sheriff Gary Sisk said the woman was walking in Jack Mattox Park Thursday morning when she noticed a man unknown to her, William A. Harrison, whose actions raised her suspicions. The woman said as she went to her car Harrison got into his vehicle and pulled in front of her as she was leaving the park and tried to make her crash into his vehicle. ....
