Those of you who regularly follow the Dose know that I rarely feature cover songs. They have to be great, and different from the original for me to really want to play them for you.
Today is such a case. Nancy Wilson, one of the two Wilson sister in the band Heart has covered Pearl Jam s song Daughter . It s different than the original by a wide margin, and well worth your time to give it a listen.
The cover photo here is a vintage photo of heart arriving at the old Ontario Motor Speedway when they played the Cal Jam Festival back in the 70 s when most of Pearl Jam were in high school..or maybe even jr high. ....
