Magda Szubanski will debut as host of The Weakest Link on Nine on Tuesday May 4th. The show will debut at 8:50pm following Lego Masters. Filming began this week at Docklands Studios in Melbourne, on a huge set, produced by BBC Studios Australia. TV Tonight, follows from a successful return of the format in the US with Jane Lynch. Nine plans to screen the series weekly, although it isn’t clear for how many weeks as yet. BBC Studio’s ANZ Director of Production Kylie Washington, said: “We are delighted to reintroduce Australians to this fast, fun and addictive show which is a pop cultural phenomenon.
