Kathleen M. Winits, 55, was hit by an eastbound sedan as she crossed near the intersection with Olden Street shortly before 7 p.m, Brick police said. Winits was headed toward the Brick Motor Inn, where she and her husband were staying. Witnesses told police she ran into traffic and was not in a crosswalk, authorities said.
